How do I change my contact information?

Click the Contact List> in the left navigation column of the My Lulu tab.

Click the >Edit< button next to the contact information you want to change. If you have not already defined these, there will be four buttons across the top, >Add author contact<, >Add shipping contact<, >Add remission contact< and >Add public contact<.

If you have already defined these contacts, access them by clicking the Edit icon beside each item in the list. Click the >Save Contact< button after making the edits.

What does each contact type in the contact list mean?

When you click the "Contact List" link in the left column of the My Lulu tab, the Update your Contact Information> page displays. It contains your information as well as places where you shipped products. You can modify and delete the information by clicking the buttons to the right of the entry.

The table includes a designation for each entry, as described next.

  • Public
    This information is available to the public so that site visitors can learn a bit about you. If you haven't provided any Public information, click the >Add public contact< button and fill in the Contact Information form.
  • Author
    When someone clicks an author's name on Lulu, this information displays in the author's storefront. If you added an author when publishing a work, we list that information as an Author contact. If you want to add an author contact, click the >Add author contact< button and fill in the Contact Information form.
  • Billing and Shipping
    These are the "bill to" and "ship to" addresses for your purchases. The first time you make a purchase, Lulu creates your Billing and Shipping contacts from the information you provide in the Shopping Cart. This information is not displayed to other users. To add a shipping contact, click the >Add shipping contact< button and fill in the Contact Information form.
  • Remit To
    This is the Remission Address where you want to receive your royalty checks. This information is not displayed to other users. The first time you provide a Remission Address, click the >Add remission contact< button and fill in the Contact Information form.

    How do I change my email address or password?

    If you want to change your Lulu password or email address, sign in to your Lulu account with your current password.

    1. From the My Lulu tab, click the Account Preferences> link.
    2. Enter your new email address in the Email Address field.
    3. Enter your new password in the Password field, and again in the Re-type Password field to confirm it.
    4. Click the >Save< button.

    How do I change my preferred language and country?

    The language you choose in your account preferences accompanies your published projects listings by default. If you want to set or change your preferred language and country, you must first sign into your account.

    1. From the My Lulu> tab, click My Account, located in the orange band at the top of the page.
    2. Select the Language and Currency from the drop down lists.
    3. Click the >Save< button.

    How can I subscribe to or unsubscribe from the Lulu newsletter and other e-mail communications?

    1. Click the My Lulu tab. Log In if you have not done so.
    2. Under Preferences in the column on the left side of the page, click the link for Notification Preferences, or go to the My Account section of the My Lulu tab and scroll to the Email Notification section.
    3. Check or uncheck boxes according to your notification preferences.
    4. Click the >Save< button; you will see a confirmation of the update.

    Why was my account disabled?

    If your account has been removed from Lulu, the material you uploaded to Lulu was in blatant disregard of our Member Agreement>. Lulu only permits distribution of your own work or work that the owner specifically granted you permission to use. Lulu will delete your content from the system if it is found to violate the Member Agreement..

    How do I cancel (delete) my Lulu account?

    If you want to remove all of your information, content, and projects from Lulu, you can delete your account. Your storefront, blog, and projects will be removed from your account, the Lulu marketplace, and Lulu's site; neither you nor potential shoppers will have access to the projects or files.

    Note: Lulu reserves the right to continue supplying files you made available for download to those who already bought them. We allow no new purchases of any materials formerly provided in a deleted account.

    Delete your Lulu account by clicking on Cancel Account in the left column of the My Lulu tab. In the page that displays in response, you must confirm the action by clicking the >Cancel My Account< button.

    What should I do if I receive spam from a Lulu account or suspect other abuse of a Lulu account?.

    If you a Lulu account sends you spam, or if at any time you suspect that someone is abusing a Lulu account, please bring this behavior to our attention using our Abuse Report Form>. Some examples of account abuse include the following.

    • Accessing your account without your permission.
    • Sending spam with links to Lulu storefronts or products.
    • Other abusive behavior as outlined in the Community Use> section of the Lulu Membership Agreement
